Julia Marsh is a knitter and designer based in Scotland and Yorkshire in the UK.

Julia learned the basics of knitting as a child and in 2008 she picked up the needles again. Now she loves designing accessories and homewares. 

​

Having a base in the highlands of Scotland she enjoys photography and long walks in the wild open spaces, which provide inspiration for many of her designs.

Julia started writing her blog Hand Knitted Things in 2008 as a way of documenting her knitting projects and sharing them with others.

​

Her work is regularly featured in knitting and craft magazines.

​

Julia's independently published patterns are available as digital downloads through Ravelry and Etsy.
